Clouds Stratus
Clouds Stratus is a suspended acoustic ceiling cloud from Zintra, shaped as a sloping grid with one end raised higher than the other. Built from pressure-fit interlocking 12mm polyester panels, it absorbs airborne sound to reduce reverberation and introduces dynamic visual movement to the ceiling plane.

Applications
Suited to hospitality venues, open-plan offices, education spaces, and commercial interiors where both reverberation control and a ceiling feature with directional visual energy are required. The asymmetric sloping profile works well in clusters or staggered arrangements, particularly over bar areas, reception zones, and dining spaces. Multi-colour and digital print finishes are available for bespoke installations.
Standards and compliance
ASTM-E84 Class A fire classification. AS ISO 9705-2003 Group 1 fire classification. EN-13501 B-s2-d0 fire classification. Material contains 60% post-consumer recycled content from PET bottles, 35% pre-consumer recycled content from PET chips, and 5% polylactic acid. 100% recyclable at end of life.
Frequently asked questions
How is the Stratus cloud installed?
Components arrive flat packed and are assembled on site using pressure-fit interlocking profiles. The assembled cloud is suspended from the ceiling with the adjustable cable kit included. Two-person assembly is recommended.
What NRC performance can I expect?
NRC reaches up to 0.95 without an air gap, and up to 1.00 when the cloud is suspended with a 610mm gap between it and the ceiling surface.
What makes the Stratus different from other cloud shapes?
The Stratus has an asymmetric sloping profile: one end sits higher than the other, giving it a distinctive tilted appearance. This differentiates it from the flat square or symmetrical dome forms in the Zintra Clouds range.
