At AKA Acoustics Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. Please read our Return and Refund Policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. No Change of Mind Returns

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for purchases made due to a change of mind. Please ensure that you review all product specifications and compatibility before completing your order.

2. Manufacturer Warranty & Defective Products

We only supply products from reputable manufacturers, each of whom has its own warranty and return policies. If you experience any issues with your product, such as defects or malfunctions, we will assist in facilitating a claim with the manufacturer. However, we are not responsible for the final decision regarding returns, replacements, or refunds.

  • Customers must contact us within 7 of receiving a faulty or defective product.
  • We will liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf, but all warranty claims are subject to their policies and procedures.
  • Any repair, replacement, or refund is determined solely by the manufacturer and subject to their discretion.
  • The manufacturer may require the product to be returned for assessment before approving a refund or replacement.

3. Damaged or Incorrect Products Upon Arrival

If your order arrives damaged in transit or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

  • You must provide clear photos of the damaged or incorrect item(s) along with the packaging.
  • We will work with the courier and/or manufacturer to determine the next steps.
  • A replacement or refund will be provided only if approved by the relevant parties (manufacturer/courier).

4. Return Process & Conditions

If your return is accepted (e.g., due to a manufacturer-approved defect or damage claim), you must follow these guidelines:

  • All items must be returned in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and components.
  • The product must be unused and in the same condition as received (unless returning due to manufacturer defects).
  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise advised.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing insurance, as we are not liable for lost or damaged returns.

5. Refunds (If Applicable)

Refunds will only be processed under the following conditions:

  • The manufacturer has approved a refund request after reviewing a warranty or defect claim.
  • The item was incorrectly supplied due to an error on our part.
  • The courier has accepted liability for damages during transit.

If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 30 business days and credited to the original payment method.

6. Exclusions & Limitations

  • AKA Acoustics Pty Ltd is not responsible for manufacturer warranty decisions, processing times, or refund approvals.
  • We do not accept returns for custom orders, clearance items, or opened software products (if applicable).
  • Any unauthorised returns (sent without prior approval) will not be processed and may be returned at the customer’s expense.
