Mesh Baffles Checkered is a suspended ceiling acoustic system from Zintra, comprising 156 interchangeable 12 mm polyester quills inserted into a powder-coated steel mesh that hangs from Y-Hook cables. The checkered arrangement positions quills in a repeating alternating pattern across the mesh, providing multi-directional sound coverage with an NRC of 0.70 to 1.0.

What is included in each Mesh Baffles Checkered system?
Each system includes one powder-coated mesh panel, 6 Y-Hook cable hangers (1520 mm standard length), 5 wire rope clamps, and 156 quills pre-cut for the Checkered pattern.
Can the quills be replaced or reconfigured?
Yes. The quills are interchangeable and can be removed from the mesh connectors individually, allowing pattern changes or replacement of damaged quills without replacing the whole system.
How do I select colours for this product?
One Zintra quill colour and one mesh powder coat colour are chosen per system. Contrasting or complementary combinations can be used, and adjacent systems can carry different colour pairings to create pattern effects across a ceiling.
