Frequently asked questions
Can Meru be cleaned with bleach?
Yes. For difficult stains, a solution of 10% household bleach and 90% water applied with a soft cloth is suitable. Rinse with a clean damp cloth afterwards to remove bleach concentration.
What does phthalate-free vinyl mean for a healthcare environment?
Phthalate-free vinyl contains no phthalate plasticisers, which are the compounds most commonly regulated in healthcare procurement. Meru also contains no added fire retardants or formaldehyde, contributing to Healthier Hospitals compliance.
What is the abrasion resistance of Meru?
Meru achieves 100,000+ double rubs tested by the Wyzenbeek method, which is appropriate for heavy-duty contract upholstery applications.
