Layers Panel 3D
Layers Panel 3D is an acoustic wall panel from Zintra, handmade by layering colour-through polyester strips onto a 12 mm Zintra backer panel and then sculpting the strips into a three-dimensional surface. The raised, irregular face scatters and absorbs sound more effectively than a flat panel, achieving an NRC of up to 1.0 when installed with an air gap.

Frequently asked questions
How does Layers Panel 3D differ from the standard Layers Panel?
Both share the same backer dimensions and base composition, but in the 3D version the layered strips are formed into a raised, three-dimensional surface. This additional surface relief increases sound scattering and absorption, enabling the NRC of up to 1.0 when installed with an air gap.
Does the air gap affect installation?
Yes. The NRC of up to 1.0 is achieved with an air gap behind the panel. Installation details are available in the Zintra installation guide.
Can colours be combined on a single panel?
Yes. Strips of different colours from the Zintra palette are cut and layered onto the backing panel, so a single panel can feature multiple colours in a custom arrangement.
