Applications
Suitable for wall-mounted installation in hospitality venues, restaurants, retail spaces, offices, and public interiors where noise levels are elevated and a soft organic form suits the design scheme. The three-dimensional Paume relief changes the angle of sound reflection, reducing echoes. Not suitable as a freestanding product. Ceiling installation is not recommended. When installing with an air gap, lamination to a solid backer such as MDF is required.
Standards and compliance
ASTM-E84 Class A fire classification. AS ISO 9705-2003 Group 1 fire classification. EN 13501 B-s2-d0 fire classification. VOC testing: Standard Method Version 1.2 for CDPH 01350, pass for all testing scenarios.
Frequently asked questions
How should the Paume panel be fixed to the wall?
Full-surface adhesive attachment is the recommended method. Z-clips, furring strips, and standoffs are not recommended for Zintra Texture Panels. Mechanical fixings, point fix systems, and split batten systems are available for the standard Zintra panel range where full adhesion is not possible.
Is the Paume panel made from recycled materials?
Yes. Each panel contains 95% recycled polyester: 60% from post-consumer PET bottles and 35% from pre-consumer PET chips, with 5% polylactic acid (PLA). The materials are 100% recyclable at end of life.
What thickness should I specify?
The panel is available in 12mm and 24mm. The 24mm option provides a deeper relief and higher density (3.6 kg/m2 versus 2.4 kg/m2 for 12mm), which can influence both acoustic performance and the visual depth of the texture.
