Acunic by Getzner Textil - 3D VOLUMIC bubble
Acunic 3D VOLUMIC bubble is an acoustic textile from Getzner Textil, woven in a polywoven 3D construction that produces an impressively voluminous surface texture. It achieves a weighted sound absorption coefficient of 0.90 (Absorption Class A), making it one of the highest-absorbing acoustic fabrics in the Acunic range.

Applications
Suitable for wall panels, ceiling elements, baffles, and curtains in commercial interiors, performance venues, offices, hospitality spaces, and education facilities where high sound absorption and visual texture are both required. The 3D bubble surface adds a sculptural quality to acoustic treatment panels and freehanging baffles.
Standards and compliance
Sound absorption measured per DIN EN ISO 354. Fire resistance B1 flame retardant per DIN EN ISO 4102. Air permeability per DIN EN ISO 9237. Specific flow resistance per DIN EN ISO 29053. Material is Trevira CS, a flame-resistant polyester with an inherent fire resistance (not a surface coating).
Frequently asked questions
What does Absorption Class A mean?
Absorption Class A is the highest classification under EN ISO 11654. A weighted absorption coefficient (alpha w) of 0.90 means the fabric absorbs approximately 90% of incident sound energy across the rated frequency range.
Is the fire resistance a coating or inherent to the fibre?
The fabric is made from Trevira CS, a polyester with inherent flame resistance built into the polymer itself, not applied as a surface treatment. This means fire resistance is not lost through washing or abrasion.
How is the fabric installed?
The fabric can be stretched over acoustic panel frames, suspended as curtains, or used in ceiling elements. Cut edges should be sealed with heated fabric edging scissors to prevent fraying. It is machine washable at 40 degrees Celsius on a delicates cycle.
