A7V
The A7V is a 2-way active studio monitor from ADAM Audio, the successor to the award-winning A7X. It combines a 7-inch Multi-Layer Mineral woofer with a handmade X-ART tweeter and a rotatable HPS waveguide, delivering 105 dB peak SPL with frequency response down to 40 Hz. DSP-based voicing and room correction are controlled remotely via the free A Control software.

Frequently asked questions
What is the X-ART tweeter?
The X-ART (eXtended Accelerating Ribbon Technology) tweeter is a folded-ribbon driver handmade at the ADAM Audio factory in Berlin. On the A7V it features a rotatable HPS waveguide for flexible speaker orientation.
Can the A7V be controlled remotely?
Yes. DSP voicing, equalisation, and room correction are controllable in real time via the free A Control software over the RJ45 Ethernet connection using the OCA protocol. Firmware updates are also supported.
What is the frequency response of the A7V?
The A7V measures 44 Hz to 41 kHz at the -3 dB points and 40 Hz to 45 kHz at the -6 dB points, with a 2.8 kHz crossover between woofer and tweeter.
