Fletcher Pink Partition Acoustic Wall Insulation
Fletcher Pink Partition Acoustic Wall Insulation is a lightweight glasswool batt from Fletcher Insulation, designed to stand free in steel stud framing for fast installation. It reduces sound transfer between rooms in multi-residential and commercial steel frame buildings, and also provides thermal resistance values suitable for external wall applications.

Applications
Used in internal partition walls of multi-residential apartments and commercial buildings with steel stud framing. Suitable for separating offices, meeting rooms, hotel rooms, and other spaces where sound control between adjacent rooms is required. The thermal values also make it suitable for external wall envelope applications.
Standards and compliance
Thermal performance tested in accordance with AS/NZS 4859.1. Non-combustible classification.
Frequently asked questions
Why is Pink Partition suited to steel stud framing specifically?
The batt is engineered to be free-standing, meaning it holds its position between steel studs without sagging or additional support, making installation faster than products that rely on compression fit.
Can Pink Partition be used in external walls as well as internal partitions?
Yes. The product provides a range of thermal R-values across its density options, making it suitable for insulating the external walls of a building envelope in addition to internal acoustic partition applications.
What density should I choose for acoustic performance?
The 32 kg/m3 options deliver the highest R-values and are the most appropriate where acoustic separation is the primary requirement. Lower density variants (11 and 14 kg/m3) are more thermally focused.
