Pink Batts acoustic wall insulation is made from lightweight, flexible and resilient glasswool (sometimes referred to as mineral wool), specially designed for the thermal insulation of ceilings and walls in domestic and commercial buildings. The 2.0HD and R2.5HD Pink Batts are high density products designed to reduce sound travel between rooms or to prevent unwanted noise from entering the home or office. Acoustic wall insulation can be installed in both internal and external walls or between floors.

Thermal and Acoustic Insulation
Pink Batts® Acoustic Wall Insulation is stiffened to fit snugly between standard spacing wall studs – both timber and steel – without sagging and should be installed at the time of construction before fixing internal lining. Australian timber wall frames are typically 70mm or 90mm thick. The R2.0HD acoustic Pink Batts are perfect for home owners looking to achieve an R2.0 thermal rating within a 70mm spacing. Pink Batts® Acoustic Wall Insulation batts are non-combustible, low allergen and are guaranteed to perform for the life of the home.
