Made from up to 50% recycled fibre, they are soft to handle, low-allergen, and produce no VOC emissions, making them a practical choice for residential ceiling applications including DIY installation.

How does Polymax differ from glasswool insulation batts?
Polymax is made from 100% thermally bonded polyester rather than glasswool. It is soft to handle with no glass fibres, produces no VOC emissions, and contains up to 50% recycled fibre content.
What happens if there are gaps between the batt and the joist?
Even gaps of approximately 1 cm between the batt and the surrounding joist can noticeably reduce the thermal effectiveness of the insulation. Batts should be cut or torn to fit snugly.
Is Polymax suitable for people with asthma or allergies?
Yes. Polymax is a low-allergen product and is recognised under the National Asthma Council Australia Sensitive Choice program.
