Choosing Ceiling Insulation for Cooler Climates
At Pricewise Insulation we are often asked by our Melbourne and Sydney customers what R-Rating is recommended for either of these two cities. We generally recommend R4.0 or higher to provide good thermal protection in a varied climate – hot summers and cold winters. If installing it in a retrofit (existing home) application, you should place the insulation bags into the roof space before splitting them open, as this will make the job a lot easier when it comes to installing the insulation. CSR Bradford is the only official partner of the National Asthma Council Australia’s Sensitive Choice program. It is ideally suited for use in the homes of allergy and asthma sufferers.
