4 AMC
The 4 AMC is a steel coil spring mount from AMC Mecanocaucho, used to isolate rotating and reciprocating machinery from the building structure. Six load-rated variants cover applications from light compressors and fans through to heavy plant up to 3,000 kg per mount. A Sylomer-equipped version is also available to attenuate residual mid and high-frequency noise.

Applications
Suitable for isolating vibration from pumps, fans, air handling units, compressors, generators, and other rotating or reciprocating machinery. The mount prevents structure-borne noise from reaching adjacent spaces and reduces wear on building structure and connected equipment.

What does the Sylomer pad add?
The Sylomer version adds a microcellular polyurethane pad beneath the base to attenuate mid and high-frequency vibration that passes through the steel spring, providing broader-spectrum isolation.
How do I select the correct load variant?
Choose the variant whose maximum load rating meets or exceeds the static load at each mount point. The load-deflection and natural frequency curves in the datasheet confirm the isolation performance at the operating load.
Is the 4 AMC suitable for seismic applications?
The standard 4 AMC is designed for vertical vibration isolation only. For seismic resistance or lateral restraint, select the 4 AMC Anti-Seismic variant instead.
