What is the difference between the standard 5 AMC and the 5 AMC with Sylomer?
The standard 5 AMC uses the steel spring alone for vibration isolation. The 5 AMC with Sylomer adds a Sylomer pad that attenuates mid to high frequency vibration that the spring does not isolate effectively.
How do I select the correct spring colour?
Each spring colour corresponds to a maximum load rating, ranging from 750 kg (blue) to 3,750 kg (green). Select the variant that matches the equipment weight distributed across the number of mounts used.
Why is spring isolation important for rotating machinery?
Rotating and reciprocating parts create imbalance forces that transmit vibration to supporting structures. Without isolation, this causes accelerated wear on the machine and generates structurally borne noise in adjacent spaces.
