The 9 AMC is a heavy-duty coil spring vibration isolator from AMC Mecanocaucho, designed for the isolation of low-frequency vibrations generated by rotating and reciprocating machinery. It reduces vibration transmission to adjacent structures, limiting noise propagation and extending equipment service life.

Why is spring vibration isolation needed for rotating machinery?
Rotating and reciprocating machinery generates imbalance-driven vibration that transmits to adjacent structures, causing noise and accelerating part wear. A spring mount interrupts this transmission path, reducing both structural noise and equipment wear.
What is the difference between the 9 AMC and the 9 AMC with Sylomer?
The standard 9 AMC uses a coil spring alone, which provides isolation at low frequencies. The Sylomer variant adds a microcellular polyurethane pad to also attenuate mid and high frequencies that pass through the spring.
How are spring variants selected?
Spring variants are colour-coded and selected according to the equipment load. Each colour corresponds to a specific stiffness (K) value and maximum load capacity, allowing the isolator to be matched to the equipment weight.
