9V-SH
The 9V-SH is a heavy-duty spring vibration isolator from AMC Mecanocaucho, combining a nine-spring high-elasticity array with a Sylomer pad to attenuate vibrations across low, mid, and high frequencies. An incorporated levelling system and non-slip rubber base simplify installation under large rotating and reciprocating plant.

Applications
The 9V-SH is suited to HVAC plant, air handling units, pumps, compressors, fans, and generators where a wide load range (603 kg to 6,300 kg) and very low natural frequencies (down to 2 Hz) are required. The combined spring and Sylomer system provides broadband isolation in a single unit.
Frequently asked questions
What is the lowest natural frequency the 9V-SH can achieve?
The 9V-SH can reach natural frequencies as low as 2 Hz, which is lower than the 3 Hz minimum of the 6V-SR series, making it suitable for applications with demanding low-frequency isolation requirements.
Why does the 9V-SH include a Sylomer pad as standard?
The steel coil spring provides isolation at low frequencies; the Sylomer pad under the mount base attenuates mid and high frequencies that pass through the spring, giving the isolator effective performance across a broader frequency range without additional components.
How is the correct spring variant selected?
Eight colour-coded spring options are available with stiffness values from 121 to 1,353 N/mm. The appropriate variant is selected based on the total equipment load to achieve the target natural frequency for the application.
