ASTON is a faux leather upholstery fabric from Panaz, distributed in Australia by Baresque. It is a long-established commercial vinyl with a PVC/PU blend face on a cotton/polyester backing, available in a broad colour palette and suited to indoor and outdoor installations across hospitality, healthcare, cruise, and workspace sectors.

Applications
ASTON is used across hospitality, healthcare, cruise, and corporate environments. Its waterproof construction and anti-microbial and anti-fungal protection suit high-demand seating, booth upholstery, and outdoor furniture. Colour fastness to sea water and grade 8 artificial weathering make it suitable for exposed outdoor settings. Fire retardant treatment is available on request to meet AS 1530.3.

Is ASTON suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. ASTON carries colour fastness to sea water rated 4 to 5 and artificial weathering grade 8, and its waterproof construction makes it appropriate for outdoor and marine upholstery applications.
How is ASTON cleaned?
Wipe with a cloth dampened with clear warm water, a mild liquid detergent solution, or isopropyl alcohol. Avoid solvent-based cleaners, concentrated abrasives, lacquer thinners, and bleach-containing agents. Remove any detergent residue with a clean damp cloth and gently pat dry.
Does ASTON meet Australian fire standards?
ASTON can be treated with a fire retardant to meet AS 1530.3. Contact Baresque for details. In its standard form it meets BS 5852:2006 Ignition Source 5 and BS 7176 Medium Hazard.
