Internal and external wall insulation in residential homes and light commercial buildings with timber stud framing. Suited to new construction and renovation. The friction-fit design holds the batt between studs and limits airflow to minimise draughts. Polyester composition makes Polymax the preferred choice where allergen sensitivity or handling comfort is a priority. Batts can be torn to fit without a knife.
Standards and compliance
Complies with AS/NZS 4859.1 (materials for the thermal insulation of buildings). ISO 9001 certified manufacturing. Backed by CSR Bradford's 70-year product performance warranty.
Frequently asked questions
How does Bradford Polymax Wall Batts differ from Bradford glasswool products?
Polymax is made from 100% polyester and contains no breathable glass fibres, making it non-irritant and soft to handle without gloves or a mask. Glasswool products such as Bradford Gold require protective clothing during installation.
Can Polymax wall batts be used in external walls?
Yes. The batts are suitable for both internal and external wall cavities in residential and light commercial construction.
Are Polymax Wall Batts non-combustible?
No. Polyester insulation is not non-combustible and must not be specified where non-combustible certification is required by the building code.
