They friction-fit between floor joists to reduce heat loss in winter, limit heat gain in summer, and lessen reverberation and noise through the floor cavity.

Applications
Intended for installation beneath suspended timber floors in residential buildings. Batts are designed to friction-fit between timber joists and hold their shape without additional fasteners in standard-spaced joists. Where joist spacing varies, Optimo Saddles or Straps can be used to provide extra support. Suits both new construction and retrofit projects where the underfloor space is accessible.
