CSR Bradford’s Hi-Performance ceiling batts are available in R-Values of R5.0 to R7.0, offering the highest level of protection available anywhere in this country.

An additional benefit of R6.0 ceiling insulation is that it can help to reduce thermal bridging. As you install the batts between the ceiling joists, you’ll notice that the upper section of the R6.0 insulation batt (which is almost 30cm thick) naturally expands slightly to each side, covering a portion of the joist on either side. This reduces the air gap above the timber, increasing the thermal efficiency of the ceiling insulation. Unlike many other types of heating and cooling control, ceiling insulation requires no maintenance or replacement.
