What is solution dyed nylon?
Colour is introduced into the nylon fibre during manufacture rather than dyeing finished yarn. This gives greater resistance to fading from UV, cleaning chemicals, and bleaching agents compared to conventionally dyed fibre.
What is the difference between EcoSquare and EcoSoft backing?
EcoSquare is a hard-backed system made from 63.5% recycled content and is 100% recyclable. EcoSoft is a cushioned backing made from 80% post-consumer recycled PET bottles and holds the DECLARE label Red List Free certification.
Can Apex II tiles be installed in different lay patterns?
The 50 x 50 cm modular format is compatible with monolithic, quarter-turn, and random lay patterns. Refer to Carpets Inter installation guidelines for the relevant backing system.
