How does the EcoSoft backing contribute to acoustic performance?
The EcoSoft backing is a dense recycled-PET cushion that acts as a sound absorption layer. The tile achieves an NRC of 0.30 or higher when tested to BS EN ISO 354, helping to reduce impact noise and airborne sound in commercial spaces.
Can individual tiles be replaced without disturbing the rest of the floor?
Yes. Carpet tiles are installed with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that allows individual tiles to be lifted and replaced without damaging adjacent tiles, making maintenance straightforward in high-traffic commercial areas.
Is the product free from harmful materials?
The EcoSoft-backed tile contains no PVC, bitumen, or fibreglass. It holds CRI Green Label Plus certification for low VOC emissions (0.5 mg/m3 or less) and is suitable for WELL Building Standard projects.
