Can the IMS3000 process Dolby Atmos audio internally?
Yes, the IMS3000 can be field-enabled for internal Dolby Atmos processing up to 64 speaker feeds, removing the need for a separate external cinema processor. A licence purchase is required to activate this capability.
What is the difference between the IMS3000-NB and IMS3000-DS models?
The IMS3000-NB includes SDI inputs and supports Dual Projector Chase mode for installations with two projectors. The IMS3000-DS does not include SDI connections and is intended for single-projector installations only.
How can content be ingested into the IMS3000?
Content can be ingested via eSATA, USB 3.0, or Ethernet, including direct play from a shipping drive. The unit also supports play-while-ingest and offline ingest when used with the NAS storage option.
