4 AMC ANTI-SEISMIC
The 4 AMC Anti-Seismic is a spring mount from AMC Mecanocaucho engineered for mechanical plant in seismic zones or where lateral restraint is required. Five load-rated variants use a four-spring arrangement with a 22 mm deflection and support loads up to 3,212 kg per mount. A Sylomer-pad version attenuates residual mid and high-frequency noise transmitted through the springs.

Applications
Designed for heavy rotating and reciprocating plant in seismic-risk regions, including chillers, large air handling units, compressors, and generators. The locking transport device secures the mount during equipment delivery and commissioning. The Sylomer base pad version provides additional attenuation of structure-borne noise.

What does the transport lock do?
Limit-switch bolts lock the spring assembly during equipment delivery, preventing damage to the isolation system before installation and commissioning.
What does the Sylomer pad add?
The Sylomer pad under the base attenuates mid and high-frequency vibration that passes through the steel springs, giving a two-stage isolation response.
How does this differ from the standard 4 AMC?
The anti-seismic variant adds lateral restraint and a transport-lock mechanism, making it suitable for seismic zones and installations where equipment movement must be contained.
