The 5V-SR is a Vibrabsorber spring mount from AMC Mecanocaucho that combines a high-elasticity steel spring with a Sylomer isolation pad to provide broadband vibration control across low, mid, and high frequencies. It is used to isolate heavy mechanical plant in commercial and industrial buildings.

How does the 5V-SR differ from the 4V-SR?
The 5V-SR supports loads up to 6,000 kg versus 4,800 kg for the 4V-SR, and uses a taller assembly at 350 mm versus 250 mm. Both share the same 3 to 5 Hz natural frequency range and include a Sylomer pad.
What does the Sylomer pad contribute?
The Sylomer pad attenuates mid to high frequency vibration that the steel spring does not address. The two work in series to provide broadband isolation.
What is the operating temperature range?
Rated from -30 to 70 degrees Celsius for continuous use, with short-term higher temperatures permissible.
