DRD
DRD is an anti-vibration rubber-metal mount from AMC Mecanocaucho, distributed in Australia by Getzner Vibration Solutions. It isolates vibration in all three axes and suits light machinery operating at medium to low excitation frequencies, providing greater isolation than comparable low-profile mounts due to its taller rubber section.

Applications
Suited to light machinery producing vibrations across multiple axes at medium to low excitation frequencies. Typical installations include compressors, air-conditioners, ventilators, and vibrating tables. The taller rubber profile delivers lower stiffness rates than the DSD series, making DRD the preferred choice where improved isolation performance is needed.
Frequently asked questions
How does the DRD differ from the DSD mount?
Both mounts share a similar construction, but the DRD has a taller rubber section. This gives it lower axial and radial stiffness rates compared to the DSD, resulting in improved vibration isolation for applications requiring it.
What hardness grade should I select?
Three Shore hardness grades are available: Soft (45), Medium (60), and Hard (75). The appropriate grade depends on the static load to be supported and the vibration frequency. The hardness is engraved on the metal components for identification.
Can oil anti-drip hoods be fitted to DRD mounts?
Yes. Oil anti-drip hoods are available as an optional accessory and can be supplied on request to protect the rubber element in environments where oil contamination is a risk.
