FAI30M is a fire-resistant thermal-acoustic insulation panel from AMC Mecanocaucho. It combines an aluminium-and-fibreglass facing with M-1 class fire-resistant polyurethane foam and an internal 5 kg/m2 viscoelastic mass layer, functioning primarily as a vibration damper and sound isolator for marine and industrial environments.

Applications
Thermal insulation and vibration damping in nautical and marine installations. The high-mass viscoelastic layer increases panel weight to reduce structure-borne vibration transmission between compartments. Also suited to industrial enclosures where M-1 fire resistance and hydrocarbon resistance are required. Not optimised for sound absorption; performs as a sound isolator and damping sheet.
