FD
FD is an acoustic lining composite from AMC Mecanocaucho, consisting of a beige perforated PVC facing bonded to an M-1 class fire-resistant absorbing polyurethane foam. It provides sound absorption and is suited to lining the interior of soundproof cabins and industrial vehicles.

Is FD available with a self-adhesive backing?
Yes. Both the 15 mm and 25 mm thicknesses are available in a self-adhesive version, designated FD-15 A and FD-25 A respectively.
What is the difference in acoustic performance between the two thicknesses?
The 15 mm version achieves an Rw of 13 dB, while the 25 mm version achieves 11 dB. The thinner panel is more effective at sound reduction in this composite configuration.
How many sheets are supplied per box?
The 15 mm variant is supplied 8 sheets per box; the 25 mm variant is supplied 5 sheets per box. Each sheet measures 1200 x 1000 mm.
