Isotop DZE
The Isotop DZE is a pressure-tension vibration isolator from Getzner Werkstoffe that combines Sylodyn and Sylomer polyurethane layers in a stainless steel housing to isolate vibration under both compressive and tensile loading. It suits heavy plant and mobile applications where conventional mounts cannot resist upward or lateral dynamic forces.
Specifications
- Materials: stainless steel housing; Sylodyn and Sylomer polyurethane isolating layers
- DZE load range: 24 kg to 1,030 kg
- DZE heights: 62 mm (DZE-1, single insert) and 87 mm (DZE-2, two inserts)
- DZE natural frequency: from 7 Hz
- DZE Mini load range: 8 kg to 230 kg
- DZE Mini height: 49 mm
- DZE Mini natural frequency: from 9.6 Hz
- Installation: pre-assembled, rapid-fit elements
Applications
Elastic bearing of compressors, pumps, cooling towers, high-speed rotary presses, combined heat and power plants, roof-top installations, emergency power generators, and mobile equipment. The push-pull design is suitable for narrow and tall devices prone to tipping. The DZE Mini serves lighter-duty installations in constrained spaces.
Frequently asked questions
How does the DZE differ from a compression-only vibration mount?
The DZE works in both compression and tension. Its stainless steel tube core transfers horizontal forces and pulse-type loads such as wind gusts or sudden movements that a compression-only mount cannot resist.
When should the DZE Mini be chosen over the standard DZE?
The DZE Mini suits loads from 8 kg to 230 kg where installation space is restricted. Its natural frequency starts from 9.6 Hz, compared with 7 Hz for the standard DZE.
