Levelling – NFR
Levelling NFR is a screw-adjustable anti-vibration machine mount from AMC Mecanocaucho. It isolates stationary machinery from surrounding structures by absorbing vibration and reducing transmitted noise, with a tilting system that compensates for uneven floor surfaces across a load range suited to medium and heavy industrial equipment.
Specifications
- Elastomer: Oil-resistant Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR)
- Load range: 650 kg to 3,700 kg (model-dependent)
- Available models: NFR-85, NFR-100, NFR-130, NFR-160, NFR-200
- Thread sizes: M-16 (NFR-85, NFR-100), M-20 (NFR-130, NFR-160), M-24 (NFR-200)
- Height adjustment: Via screw, locked with checknuts once level is achieved
- Tilting system: Included; accommodates uneven floor surfaces
Applications
Suitable for levelling and vibration isolation of medium to heavy industrial machinery that is not bolted to the floor. Used under compressors, pumps, generators, HVAC plant, and processing equipment in industrial and commercial settings where floor flatness cannot be guaranteed and where vibration transmission to adjacent structures must be minimised.
Frequently asked questions
How is the mount installed and levelled?
Lift the machine and insert the mount underneath. Turn the adjustment screw manually until it engages the thread in the mount, then adjust height by continuing to turn the screw. Once the machine is level, lock the position with the checknuts.
Is the NFR suitable for environments with oil or fluid exposure?
Yes. The NBR elastomer is formulated specifically for resistance to oils, making the NFR appropriate for industrial machinery environments where incidental fluid contact is expected.
What load range does the NFR series cover?
The NFR series covers static loads from 650 kg (NFR-85) to 3,700 kg (NFR-200) across five models, each with a thread size matched to the load capacity.
