PFM
PFM is a composite acoustic panel from AMC Mecanocaucho that combines a polyurethane absorber with a heavy viscoelastic mass layer, delivering simultaneous sound absorption and mass-based sound isolation. It is designed primarily for lining the interiors of soundproof enclosures, industrial cabins, and vehicles.

Applications
Lining the interior walls and ceilings of soundproof enclosures, industrial acoustic cabins, and vehicle bodies. The polyurethane layer absorbs mid and high frequency sound energy while the viscoelastic mass layer adds damping and increases the total surface mass, reducing vibration transmission through thin panels.

What does the viscoelastic mass layer do in PFM?
The 5 kg/m2 viscoelastic mass increases the surface mass of the panel, which resists airborne sound transmission, while also dissipating vibrational energy as heat through damping.
What thicknesses are available and how are sheets packaged?
PFM is supplied in 15 mm, 25 mm, and 40 mm thicknesses. Sheets measure 1200 x 1000 mm, and packing quantities per box vary by thickness.
Is a self-adhesive version available?
Yes. All three thicknesses are offered in a self-adhesive variant, which simplifies installation onto cabin walls, bulkheads, and vehicle bodywork.
