Why does Rw decrease slightly from 30 mm to 50 mm?
Rw is a weighted index that reflects performance at a range of frequencies. The result of 13 dB at 30 mm and 12 dB at 50 mm is as stated in the manufacturer specifications; thicker pyramid panels primarily improve low-frequency absorption rather than simply raising Rw.
Is Piramidal Grey available with a self-adhesive backing?
Yes. Both the 30 mm and 50 mm versions are offered in self-adhesive variants, simplifying direct mounting onto walls and ceilings without additional adhesive.
