SCHR
The SCHR is a reinforced rubber-metal anti-vibration mount made by AMC Mecanocaucho, designed for applications with major dynamic loads where movement control is critical. An internal metallic reinforcement prevents friction wear between the rubber and its housing, extending service life under demanding mobile-machine conditions.
Specifications
- Load range: 40 kg to 2,000 kg per mount (depending on size and rubber hardness)
- Available sizes: SCHR 35, SCHR 50, SCHR 65, SCHR 90, SCHR 125, SCHR 140
- Rubber hardness options: 45, 60, 65, and 75 Shore A
- Tightening torque range: 20.5 Nm (SCHR 35) to 1,190 Nm (SCHR 140)
- Frame thickness (T): determines degree of pre-compression; T Max and T Min vary by size (e.g. SCHR 50: T Max 14 mm, T Min 12.5 mm)
- Construction: two rubber parts with an internal metal bushing acting as bolt guide, plus metallic reinforcement against friction wear
- Installation: pre-compressed on machine frame via central anchoring screw; washers recommended where rubber surface is not fully covered by the contact surface
Applications
Designed for operator cabin isolation and equipment mounting on all types of mobile vehicles, including public works, construction, and agricultural machinery. Suited to high dynamic loads where both movement control and long service life under friction are required.
Frequently asked questions
How does the SCHR differ from the standard SCH mount?
The SCHR includes an additional metallic reinforcement inside the rubber housing. This prevents premature wear caused by friction between the rubber element and the housing, making the SCHR better suited to applications with continuous dynamic loading and movement.
When should washers be used with the SCHR?
Washers are recommended when the rubber surface of the mount is not fully covered by the contact surface of the machine frame, as stated in the installation guidance.
What load range does the SCHR cover?
The SCHR range covers 40 kg to 2,000 kg per mount across six sizes, with rubber hardness options of 45, 60, 65 and 75 Shore A to match the required stiffness.
