SYLOMER PAD
Sylomer Pad is an anti-vibration bearing pad from AMC Mecanocaucho, manufactured using Getzner Sylomer polyurethane material. It is designed to isolate vibration and structure-borne noise transmitted through the mounting points of mechanical equipment, with a microcellular structure that delivers effective isolation with minimal deflection.

Applications
The Sylomer Pad is used under chillers, compressors, diesel generators, HVAC units, lathes, presses, and saws, as well as general industrial and commercial machinery. Pads can be cut to the required piece count based on equipment load per support point, making a single pad type adaptable to a wide range of machine weights.
Frequently asked questions
How do I select the correct Sylomer density for my equipment?
The five Sylomer densities (SR 110 through SR 1200) correspond to increasing load capacity per piece. Calculate the load per support point for your equipment and select the density whose rated capacity matches. Pads can be stacked or cut to adjust the total bearing area and therefore the load per unit area.
Can the pads be cut on site?
Yes. Sylomer Pad pieces are easy to cut to the required dimensions using standard cutting tools, allowing the pad area per support point to be adjusted to match the equipment load without ordering custom sizes.
Do the pads require any adhesive or fixing?
No adhesive or mechanical fixing is required. The pads are placed between the equipment base and the mounting surface. No maintenance is needed once installed.
