TSR Antivibration Mounts
TSR Antivibration Mounts are a range of anti-vibration pad mounts from AMC Mecanocaucho, built around Sylomer microcellular polyurethane bonded to an antioxidant-treated metal base. They isolate structure-borne vibration from machinery and pipework, with six Sylomer density grades covering loads up to 300 kg per mount.
Specifications
- Available heights: 42 mm, 75 mm, and 82 mm
- Fixation threads: M8, M10, M12 internal nut options
- Load range: Up to 25 kg (TSR 55 density) to 300 kg (TSR 1200 density)
- Density grades available: 6 (TSR 55, 110, 220, 450, 850, 1200)
- Isolator material: Sylomer microcellular polyurethane
- Temperature range: -30 degrees C to +70 degrees C
- Oil resistance: Yes
- Base layer: Chloroprene rubber, bonded to metal for anti-skid and anticorrosive protection
- Metal finish: Antioxidant-treated
- Deflection (at rated load): 1.6 mm to 2.9 mm depending on density
Applications
Suited to mechanical fixation of HVAC plant, industrial machinery, pipework, and suspended equipment where both anti-vibration isolation and a secure fixing point are required. The chloroprene rubber base layer enables use without mechanical fixation where bolting is not possible.
Standards and compliance
Metal antioxidant coating complies with RoHS regulations.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the density grades?
Six grades (TSR 55 through TSR 1200) cover different load ranges, from up to 25 kg for TSR 55 to up to 300 kg for TSR 1200. Selecting the correct grade ensures the mount operates within its designed deflection and isolation range.
Can these mounts be used without bolting them down?
Yes. The chloroprene rubber base layer provides anti-skid performance, allowing the mount to be used without mechanical fixation where bolting to the structure is not practical.
Are the mounts resistant to oil and temperature extremes?
The Sylomer compound is oil resistant and rated from -30 degrees C to +70 degrees C, making the mounts suitable for plant rooms and light industrial environments.
