TSR ANTIVIBRATION MOUNTS 40X40
TSR Antivibration Mounts 40X40 are compact anti-vibration pad mounts from AMC Mecanocaucho, built around a 40 mm x 40 mm Sylomer microcellular polyurethane pad bonded to an antioxidant-treated metal base. Five density grades cover loads up to 70 kg, making them suited to light mechanical plant and equipment isolation.
Specifications
- Base dimensions: 40 mm x 40 mm
- Load range: Up to 7.5 kg (TSR 55) to up to 70 kg (TSR 850) per mount
- Density grades available: 5 (TSR 55, 110, 220, 450, 850)
- Isolator material: Sylomer microcellular polyurethane
- Temperature range: -30 degrees C to +70 degrees C
- Oil resistance: Yes
- Base layer: Chloroprene rubber bonded to metal, providing anti-skid and anticorrosive protection
- Metal finish: Antioxidant-treated
- Deflection (at rated load): 1.6 mm to 2.4 mm depending on density
- Natural frequency range: 11.1 Hz to 13.6 Hz depending on load and density
Applications
Suited to vibration isolation of small motors, light HVAC plant, compact pumps, and other lightweight machinery. The small footprint allows installation in confined spaces. The chloroprene rubber base permits use without mechanical fixation where bolting is not possible.
Standards and compliance
Metal antioxidant coating complies with RoHS regulations.
Frequently asked questions
Which density grade should I choose?
Five density grades (TSR 55 through TSR 850) cover loads from up to 7.5 kg to up to 70 kg per mount. Match the total supported load divided by the number of mounts to select the appropriate grade.
Is mechanical fixation required?
No. The chloroprene rubber bonded base provides anti-skid performance for installations where bolting is not practical. Where fixation is required, the internal metal nut accepts a bolt through the structure.
What environments are these mounts suited to?
The Sylomer compound is oil resistant and rated from -30 degrees C to +70 degrees C. The metal parts carry an antioxidant coating, making the mounts suitable for plant room and light industrial use.
