Kayman-KY52
The Kayman-KY52 is a passive line array element from K-Array, built with four closely-spaced 4-inch neodymium magnet woofers in a stainless steel enclosure. Selectable impedance (4 ohms or 16 ohms) and flexible rigging accessories support vertical and horizontal line array configurations across a range of venues.

Applications
The KY52 suits lower-ceiling environments including conference rooms, restaurants, retail spaces, and houses of worship, as well as stacked outdoor configurations. Selectable impedance simplifies multi-speaker integration. Passive operation requires dedicated presets on a compatible K-Array Kommander amplifier.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the standard and full-range presets?
The standard preset covers 120 Hz to 20 kHz at 132 dB peak. The full-range preset extends low-end to 60 Hz at 120 dB peak, and requires a 4-channel amplifier or one with EBS firmware.
Is the KY52 suitable for outdoor use?
IP64 handles most semi-exposed conditions. K-IP65KITA or K-IP65KITB accessories upgrade to IP65 for exposed environments.
