Applications
The narrow 10-degree vertical dispersion makes the A10 FOCUS well suited to medium-throw line array deployments in theatres, houses of worship, ballrooms, and arenas where tight vertical control minimises spill onto ceilings and balcony fronts. PANFLEX enables the same enclosure to serve focused or wider horizontal coverage needs without hardware changes.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the A10 FOCUS and the A10 WIDE?
Both share the same 10-inch and 2.5-inch transducers and PANFLEX horizontal adjustment. The FOCUS has a 10-degree vertical dispersion for longer throws, while the A10 WIDE opens to 30 degrees vertically for shorter-throw or wider-coverage applications.
Can horizontal directivity be changed in the field?
Yes. PANFLEX L-Fins adjust between 70, 90, and 110 degrees horizontally without tools, allowing coverage to be tailored to the specific venue geometry during installation or rigging.
Does the A10 FOCUS require a specific amplifier?
The A10 FOCUS is a passive enclosure and requires an L-Acoustics amplified controller such as the LA2Xi, LA4X, LA8, or LA12X, which also delivers the system presets and processing.
