LOUDSPEAKERS - L2D
The L-Acoustics L2D is a 16-channel progressive ultra-dense line source (PULS) designed for medium and large events. Combining 4 x 12-inch low-mid drivers, 8 x 10-inch low-frequency drivers, and 8 x 3-inch compression drivers with DOSC waveguide, L-VENTS, PANFLEX adjustable directivity, and an integrated cardioid configuration, it delivers 151 dB max SPL for long-throw reinforcement.

Applications
Designed for medium and large-scale live events requiring extended throw and precise horizontal control. The PANFLEX system allows horizontal coverage to be adjusted on the top two modules between 70, 90, and 110 degrees without additional hardware, accommodating different venue geometries. The integrated cardioid configuration reduces rear and side spill, benefiting stage-side monitoring isolation and neighbouring area control. Suited to concert touring, stadium reinforcement, and large outdoor festivals.
Standards and compliance
IP55 rated, providing protection against dust ingress and water jets from all directions, suitable for outdoor event use.
Frequently asked questions
What amplified controllers are required for the L2D?
The L2D requires the LA7.16 or LA7.16i L-Acoustics amplified controllers. Each controller provides 16 channels of amplification matched to the L2D's 16-channel architecture.
What does PANFLEX do on the L2D?
PANFLEX allows the horizontal directivity of the top two modules to be adjusted between 70, 90, and 110 degrees. This enables adaptation to different venue widths from a single enclosure without swapping waveguide components.
What is the purpose of the integrated cardioid configuration?
The integrated cardioid uses the LC drivers in a cardioid arrangement to reduce acoustic energy projected rearward, limiting spill onto the stage and into areas adjacent to the speaker hang.
