What amplifiers are compatible with the SB18?
The SB18 is a passive speaker requiring an external amplified controller. Compatible units are the LA4X, LA8, and LA12X. It does not support the LA2Xi due to its power requirements.
How does the SB18 differ from the SB18 IIi?
The SB18 weighs 52 kg and is optimised for portable touring use, with four handles and a full captive rigging system. The SB18 IIi weighs 48 kg and is configured for fixed installation, with a terminal block connector rather than speakON.
