Applications
Suited to hospitality, corporate, and distributed audio systems where high amplifier output power is required alongside network audio capability. The Dante-Ready platform, 1 Gbit EtherCON ports with primary/secondary redundancy, and expandable analog input via the K-PRIN4 board make the KPRA14+ a practical choice for installations with existing network audio infrastructure or complex signal routing requirements.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Prisma-KPRA14+ include analog inputs by default?
No. The unit ships with zero analog inputs. Up to 8 analog inputs can be added using the separately available K-PRIN4 input and preamp expansion board. Dante network audio channels are available immediately after license activation.
What is the difference between the KPRA14+ and the KPRA04+?
The KPRA14+ delivers 600 W per channel at 2 ohm, compared to 150 W per channel at 4 ohm for the KPRA04+. The KPRA14+ also starts with no analog inputs (expandable via accessory), uses EtherCON connectors with primary/secondary redundancy, and supports a Dante-only input architecture suitable for fully networked installations.
Is network redundancy supported for Dante connectivity?
Yes. The KPRA14+ provides two EtherCON RJ45 ports at 1 Gbit, designated as primary and secondary, supporting Dante network redundancy for reliable operation in critical installations.
