Python-KP102 I is a passive line array speaker from K-Array, one metre long and constructed entirely from stainless steel. Twelve 3.15-inch neodymium woofers deliver controlled vertical dispersion from 7 to 30 degrees, 90-degree horizontal coverage, and a frequency response from 120 Hz upward, making it a capable solution for speech reinforcement and music reproduction in permanent and temporary installations.

Pairing with a K-Array Thunder or Rumble subwoofer and a Kommander amplifier with loaded presets extends coverage to the full musical frequency range. A marine-treated version is available for outdoor and coastal environments.

At 16 ohms, up to four Python-KP102 I speakers can be powered from a single amplifier channel rated at 4 ohms, eliminating the need for 70 V line transformers in many distributed installations.
Does the full-range preset require a specific amplifier?
Yes. The full-range preset, which extends low-frequency response to 70 Hz, is available exclusively on 4-channel K-Array amplifiers or amplifiers fitted with firmware EBS.
Is the speaker suitable for outdoor use without accessories?
The standard model is rated IP64, providing protection against dust and water splash. For more complete weather protection, the K-IP65KITA and K-IP65KITB accessories raise the rating to IP65.
