Python-KP52 I
Python-KP52 I is a passive half-metre line array speaker from K-Array, built from stainless steel and housing six 3.15-inch neodymium woofers. Selectable impedance of 8 or 32 ohms allows up to eight units to run from a single 4-ohm amplifier channel, making it practical for wide-area distributed systems without 70 V line transformers.

Applications
The Python-KP52 I is suited to restaurants, retail spaces, hotels, houses of worship, corporate meeting rooms, and any installation where a compact, visually discreet line array is required. At 32 ohms, eight speakers can share a single 4-ohm amplifier channel, which removes the need for 70 V lines in distributed background-music systems. Pairing with a K-Array Thunder or Rumble subwoofer via a Kommander amplifier with loaded presets extends coverage to the full musical range. A marine-treated version is available for outdoor or coastal use.
Standards and compliance
EN 54-24:2008 compliant for voice alarm and public address applications. Refer to the product user guide for EN 54-24 application specifications.
Frequently asked questions
How does the Python-KP52 I differ from the Python-KP102 I?
The KP52 I is half the length (520 mm versus 1000 mm) and uses six drivers rather than twelve. It handles 360 W AES versus 720 W, and its selectable impedance is 8 or 32 ohms rather than 4 or 16 ohms, allowing eight units per amplifier channel instead of four.
Does the full-range preset require a specific amplifier?
Yes. The full-range preset, which extends the low-frequency response to 70 Hz, is available only on 4-channel K-Array amplifiers or amplifiers fitted with firmware EBS.
Can the KP52 I be used outdoors?
The standard model carries an IP64 rating. For more complete outdoor protection, the K-IP65KITA and K-IP65KITB accessories upgrade the rating to IP65. A dedicated marine version with enhanced anti-corrosion treatment is also available.
