Rumble-KU44 I
The Rumble-KU44 I is a passive stainless steel subwoofer from K-Array, designed to be arrayed alongside slim mid-high speakers. Two 4-inch neodymium woofers and two 4-inch passive radiators in a sealed stainless steel enclosure deliver bass from 45 Hz, extending the full-range response of K-Array Kobra or similar line arrays in architectural and hospitality installations.

Applications
Intended for fixed installations that require bass reinforcement without a visible subwoofer enclosure. Placing a KU44 I array beside or behind a Kobra line array extends the system response down to 45 Hz. Suited to retail spaces, restaurants, hotels, bars, museums, galleries, and residential audio systems. The stainless steel build and IP64 rating support coastal and outdoor environments. A Marine variant (KU44M I) provides additional anti-corrosion treatment for yachts and beach clubs. At 32 ohm, up to eight units share a single 4-ohm amplifier channel.

How does the KU44 I differ from the KU26?
The KU44 I uses two 4-inch drivers (woofer and passive radiator each) and is longer and flatter at 500 x 116 x 100 mm, making it suitable for arraying in a line alongside column speakers. The KU26 uses one 6-inch driver per type and has a square footprint at 350 x 180 x 118 mm.
Does the KU44 I need a specific amplifier?
The KU44 I is passive and requires an external amplifier. K-Array Kommander amplifiers carry dedicated presets that ensure correct crossover and level matching with K-Array mid-high speakers.
What finishes are available beyond standard black and white?
Custom RAL colours are available on request. Premium finishes including brushed steel, polished steel, 24K gold, rose gold, and antique gold plating are also available for the enclosure and grille.
