Can the Tornado-KT2 be used in a 100V line distributed audio system?
Yes. The 32-ohm impedance setting supports 100V line distributed system configurations. A dedicated 70V variant (KT2-HV) is also available for high-impedance distributed systems.
Is it certified for fire alarm voice evacuation systems?
Yes. The KT2 is compliant with EN 54-24:2008, qualifying it for use in voice alarm and public address systems required to operate under fire conditions. The product user guide specifies the EN 54-24 application requirements.
Does it require a dedicated amplifier preset?
Yes. As a passive loudspeaker it requires a dedicated preset loaded on a K-Array amplifier to operate correctly within its specified frequency range.
