PROSPEC Foam is a specialty acoustic panel from Pinta Acoustics designed to control noise at its source. Made from open-cell WILLTEC melamine foam, it absorbs sound energy within machine enclosures, compartments, and air vents, reducing reverberation and high noise levels in industrial environments.

Applications
Used to line machine enclosures, compartments, and air vents in industrial environments. Panels can also be adhered to partitions or walls facing a noise source to reduce reverberation and sound reflections. Suitable for any setting where noise control at the source is required.
Standards and compliance
Flame spread and smoke density: passes Class A per ASTM E84 and CAN ULCS-102. Microbial growth: passes UL 181 section 11. Fungus resistance: Rating 0 per ASTM G21.

What is WILLTEC foam?
WILLTEC is an open-cell melamine-based foam that is lightweight, resistant to mould and fungus, and capable of withstanding temperatures up to 150 degrees C. The water-based acoustic coating adds resistance to water, oils, and solvents.
How are PROSPEC Foam panels installed?
Panels are adhered directly to wall or enclosure surfaces using a water-based or neutral-cure silicone adhesive. Adhesive is applied around the panel perimeter and across the centre in an X pattern before pressing firmly into place.
Can the panels be cut to fit non-standard spaces?
Yes. The lightweight WILLTEC panels can be cut on-site to fit machine enclosures, compartments, or other non-standard shapes.
