Frequently asked questions
What thickness should I choose?
The 38 mm panel suits high-frequency control in spaces where low-frequency buildup is not a concern. The 48 mm and 64 mm options extend absorption into lower mid frequencies, making them better suited to larger rooms or spaces with significant bass energy.
What is the NRC range of SONEX Valueline Panels?
The NRC ranges from 0.75 to 1.05 depending on thickness and mounting condition, tested per ASTM C423. Thicker panels achieve higher NRC values.
Can SONEX Valueline Panels be cut to custom sizes?
Yes. Custom sizes are available from Pinta Acoustics. The willtec foam can also be field-cut if required for specific installation geometries.
