WILLTEC Flat Sheets are open-cell, fibre-free melamine foam acoustic panels from Pinta Acoustics, available in a wide range of sizes and thicknesses for direct-apply wall and ceiling installations. The lightweight, flexible panels provide superior sound absorption and can be cut to fit on site, making them suitable for both small and large spaces.

- Long-term service temperature: up to 302 degrees F (150 degrees C)
- Fire rating: Class A per ASTM E84; passes CAN ULC S-102
- Microbial resistance: passes UL 181 Section 11; fungus rating 0 per ASTM G21
- Edge options: square cut (90 degree) or bevel (15, 22.5, 30 and 45 degree) options
- Finishes: natural white and light grey; standard, premium and custom water-based acoustic coatings in white, light, medium or dark grey, black and custom colours
- Typical coverage: 30 to 50 percent panel coverage is generally sufficient

WILLTEC Flat Sheets suit a wide range of interior acoustic treatment applications, including open-plan offices, classrooms, dining environments, retail spaces, shooting ranges, and industrial facilities. They adhere to smooth, clean, level drywall, concrete, plywood or metal substrates using Pinta acouSTIC adhesive, and can be cut or shaped on site with basic tools.

How much wall or ceiling area needs to be covered for effective acoustic treatment?
Pinta Acoustics states that 30 to 50 percent panel coverage is typically all that is necessary to achieve meaningful noise reduction in most spaces.
How does thickness affect the acoustic performance of WILLTEC Flat Sheets?
Thicker panels absorb lower frequencies more effectively. At 1 inch the NRC is 0.60, rising to 0.90 at 2 inches and 1.05 at 3 inches for the natural finish, all measured at Mounting A per ASTM C423.
Can WILLTEC Flat Sheets be shaped or trimmed on site?
Yes. The panels can be cut, trimmed and laminated on site. They are also available in non-rectangular shapes including circular, triangular and trapezoidal profiles, as well as custom sizes.
