G-Fit Shock Absorb
G-Fit Shock Absorb is a polyurethane underfloor isolation mat from Getzner Werkstoffe designed to reduce impact sound and structural shock in free-weights and CrossFit workout zones. Laid beneath floor coverings, it absorbs the energy of dropped dumbbells and barbells, protecting the building structure and reducing transmitted noise to adjoining spaces.

Applications
Free-weights rooms, CrossFit boxes, and high-intensity training zones where barbells and dumbbells are dropped. Suitable for new-build and retrofit installations beneath existing floor coverings. The four-variant range allows the isolation level to be matched to the load intensity and budget of each zone.
Standards and compliance
Sound reduction measured according to EN ISO 10052 and EN ISO 10140-3, using a 50 kg weight dropped from 50 cm height onto a standard commercial sports floor over a 140 mm reinforced concrete ceiling.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the four variants?
Each variant increases in thickness and sound reduction performance. Base (12.5 mm) reduces impact sound by 9 dB(A). Advanced (25 mm) achieves 17 dB(A), Pro (50 mm) achieves 24 dB(A), and Extreme (75 mm) achieves 29 dB(A). All variants use the same mat dimensions and polyurethane material.
Can G-Fit Shock Absorb be installed under an existing floor without major construction work?
Yes. The product is designed for straightforward installation, including in existing facilities, without requiring structural modification.
Is the product suitable for very heavy barbell drops?
The Extreme variant supports standard bell weights up to 250 kg and is rated for the highest-impact zones. The Base, Advanced, and Pro variants are rated for weights up to 150 kg.
