Isotop Compact
The Isotop Compact is a low-profile vibration damper from Getzner Werkstoffe, suited to applications where rubber-metal mounts do not deliver sufficient isolation and installation height is limited. It accepts loads from 4 kg to 95 kg per element and is rated for both indoor and outdoor use.
Specifications
- Load range: 4 kg to 95 kg per element (41 N to 931 N)
- Natural frequency at maximum load: 9.9 Hz to 12.1 Hz depending on load variant
- Overall height, unloaded: 28 mm
- Diameter: 54.5 mm
- Isolating layer: 25 mm Sylomer or Sylodyn polyurethane
- Metal caps: steel, zinc-nickel coated
- Connection thread: M8 internal thread and/or M8 stud bolt
- Attachment variants: T/T, B/B, B/T, B/- (four options)
- Temperature range: -30 degrees C to +70 degrees C
Applications
Elastic mounting of small pumps, compressors, split air-handling units, small motors, and electric engines where structure-borne noise isolation is required and installation height is constrained. The B/- variant can also serve as an anti-slip machine base.
Frequently asked questions
How is the correct load variant selected?
Selection is based on the static load per mount point. Eight variants from Compact-4 to Compact-100 span 4 kg to 95 kg. Getzner provides the EquipCalc tool at apps.getzner.com to match the variant to the application.
What do the T/T, B/B, B/T, and B/- designations mean?
The letters denote the connection type at top and bottom: T is an internal thread (tapped), B is a stud bolt. B/- has a bolt on top and a flat base for use without a lower fixing.
